'Foods or Drinks' To AVOID!
While you are working on changing your diet to improve it so that the foods you eat are beneficial to you in terms of nutrients and calories, it is wise to know what and why you should avoid some 'foods'. Hear what the experts (and there is growing support and evidence from many sources) have to say so you do not get blind-sided by slick advertising and/or false and inaccurate claims.
It is not just diet, soft drinks, in general avoid ALL foods and drinks laced with ARTIFICIAL SWEETENERS for the above reasons (view video). They will cause 3 metabolic changes:
- cause you to eat more (appetite increase)
- gain more weight and body fat
- SLOW DOWN your metabolism, all at the same time - with disastrous consequences (currently there has been a 30-65% increase in obesity, especially in children).
If you need to sweeten your food or drinks go for the real thing - sugar. In this case it is the lesser of two evils. Note also that since stevia is also a sweetener even though it is natural, it also will cause metabolic rebellion, like artificial sweeteners and is therefore also NOT recommended for regular use.
Recommended diet:
- Whole foods that have
- Low glycaemic index
- Rich in phyto-nutrients
- Occasional sweet treats (NO artificial sweeteners)
