STOP Constipation: The Spicy PURGE

Constipation is alarmingly widespread these days - ask the people you meet.

Typically the reply will be that they have a bowel motion one to three times a week.

They also have a beneficial effect on  insulin sensitivity and therefore on diabetes control, and also lower your LDL (“bad”) blood cholesterol by blocking the absorption of food cholesterol.  Insoluble fibres are mostly grains and vegetables - both types of fibre are important to health.
  • But did you know this one?  It works very well for people who love their spicy food. Yup! Chillies are great, natural laxatives, especially very hot chillies.  You can serve them as as curry, freshly chopped, plain, in vinegar or with lemon-juice, as sambal or laksa, and in many more ways.  A very hot batch will will send you to the bathroom with a real case of trots and more frequently than usual and it will unblock you completely!

You can stop eating hot chillies if you are not a chill-fan once you have stopped your constipation.  If you have a very long history of constipation this may not work so you may have to try some 'tough' love that's going to RETRAIN your colon and your body first!  You can then resort to this little strategy afterwards, should you become clogged up on the odd occasion.
